Bentley, Benz Drivers Targeted The NYPD is searching for this man and two others in connection with carjackings in Midtown. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  March 5, 2025  NEW YORK - Police have released new images of a pair of luxury car jackers who tried to boost a pair of high-end rides in Midtown last month.  The NYPD released new surveillance video of suspects wanted for two incidents 10 minutes apart from each other.  At around 11:20 pm on February 18, a 31-year-old driver was sitting inside his 2023 Bentley sedan parked in front of 37 West 28th Street. Police said three men walked up to the luxury car and pulled out handguns. They demanded the driver exit the car.  Cops said the driver shut the car off with a key fob causing the would-be thieves to flee in a white BMW. Strong Armed Out of His SUV By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice September 16, 2024 Follow @x MANHATTAN - A group of men robbed a driver on the Upper East Side during an early morning carjacking, cops said.   At around 7 am on September 5, a 33-year-old male was behind the wheel of his 2016 Nissan Rogue parked in front 1539 Lexington Avenue, near 98th Street. Cops said four men surrounded the car and ordered him out of the SUV.  As the driver exited the vehicle, one of the carjackers ripped the cellphone out of the victim’s hands.   The robbers piled into the SUV and drove off.  However, police have released surveillance video of the four suspects.  Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at  1-800-577-TIPS  (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Valentine’s Car Stop Turns into Armed Robbery The NYPD is searching for four men in connection with a carjacking on the Henry Hudson Parkway. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice March 2, 20224 MANHATTAN - Gunmen carjacked a couple parked on the side of the Henry Hudson Parkway during a harrowing robbery, cops said. At around 3 am on February 15, a couple was inside a gray 2024 BMW parked on the side of the Henry Hudson Parkway and West 114 Street. A gold Acura sedan pulled up behind them. Cops said four men exited the car with guns and a knife drawn. The men approached the BMW and forcibly removed the car keys.  Cops said the gunmen pulled the couple out of the car and two robbers got in and drove away. The other carjackers hopped back in the Acura and drove away following the stolen BMW. Both the male and female victims only suffered minor injuries.
