The NYPD announced the arrest of 45-year-old Christian Torres of Brooklyn. He was charged with attempted robbery. NYPD officials said Torres was recognized by officers in Harlem. The suspect had just exited the Number 6 train when officers recognized Torres from the wanted posters. NYPD officials say Torres has multiple prior arrests. At around 10:30 am on February 1, a 91-year-old man, Hyman Silverglad, was walking in front of 350 East 86th Street on the Upper East Side.
