Cops Searching for Scooter Riding Suspect in Sex Assault The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a sexual assault inside Central Park. Cops say the suspect rode a blue Razor scooter. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan News March 9, 2024 MANHATTAN - A scooter riding suspect sexually assaulted a female jogger in Central Park on the Upper West Side, cops said. At around 6:30 pm on March 6, a 30-year-old woman was jogging inside Central Park in the vicinity of 70 West Drive. A man on a blue Razor scooter rode up behind the woman and hopped off. Cops said the man grabbed the woman by the waist and proceeded to rub up against her. The suspect hopped back on the scooter and fled the park at West 72nd Street and Central Park West. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is between the ages of 20 and 25. He is six feet tall and 160 pounds, had brown eyes and a medium build.  He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt

Unprovoked Attack in Garment District - Suspect Caught on Camera The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault on a woman in the Grament District during an unprovoked attack. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 7, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for an apparently deranged man who threw a cup of hot water on a woman during an unprovoked attack in the Garment District.  At around 8:30 am, a 27-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of West 35 Street and 8th Avenue. Cops said an unknown man walked up to her and, without saying a word, threw a cup of hot water on her.  He then ran off in an unknown direction.  The victim was treated at a nearby medical facility. Cops said the victim suffered minor injuries throughout her body since the water missed her exposed face.  Street surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.  The alleged attacker is described as a male with a dark complexion and a slim build. Man Charged with Groping Teen at Grand Central Station The NYPD has made an arrest in the groping of a 16-year-old girl at Grand Central Station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 5, 2024 MANHATTAN - The NYPD announced the arrest of a suspect in the groping of a teenage girl inside Grand Central Station.   Cops arrested 41-year-old Johnny Rios of Amsterdam Avenue and charged him with forcible touching. Police charged Rios in the groping of a 16-year-old girl in the subway station on January 30.  At around 4 pm the teen was exiting the platform at 42nd Street-Grand Central Station. Cops said as she was climbing the staircase a male approached from behind and grabbed her “private area over her clothing.”  Cops said the victim screamed and the attacker fled.  Police released surveillance video of the suspect taken from inside the subway station. He was arrested a week later.
