Cops said an attacker randomly hacked at a woman’s legs with a hockey stick as she walked in the East Village. At around 10:30 pm on April 9, a 26-year-old woman was walking in front of 433 East 6 Street. Cops said a man carrying a hockey stick walked up to him, and without warning struck her in the leg. The attacker then ran off eastbound on East 6th Street. The woman was treated by EMS at the scene. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect seen walking with a blue hockey stick.
