Man, 61, Robbed at Knifepoint in Flatiron District

Mugging in Flatiron District The NYPD is searching for these men in connection with a knifepoint robbery in the Flatiron District. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice January 31, 2024 MANHATTAN - A 61-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint by a pair of robbers in the Flatiron District. Cops said the violent robbery was for $60. The NYPD released new surveillance video of the suspects taken from inside a subway station near Union Square. The suspects are both males with light complexions wearing dark hoodies. One of the men wore a blue face mask.  At around 4:30 am on January 26, a 61-year-old man was walking in front of 5 East 19 th  Street in the Flatiron District. Cops said two men in hoodies ran up to him and displayed a knife. They took $60 cash from the victim and fled towards a subway station entrance.  The pair was later captured on security cameras at the Union Square station.  Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD'

Group Attacks NYPD Officers in Theater District The NYPD is looking for a group of males who punched and kicked officers as they tried to make an arrest in the Theatre District. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice January 30, 2024  MANHATTAN - The NYPD is looking for at least four baby-faced brats who attacked police officers in the theater district when the officers tried to break up a disorderly group. The attack was captured on video.  At around 8:30 pm on a Saturday night on January 27, cops were called to investigate a disorderly group near the New Amsterdam Theatre where Aladdin is playing. When the officers attempted to disperse the rowdy group a member of the group began fighting with an officer.  When cops tried to subdue and arrest the rowdy man, the others members of the group punched and kicked the officers. Times Square Stabbing at Restroom The NYPD is searching for two men in connection with the pepper spraying and stabbing of a man coming out of restaurant's restroom. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice January 30, 2024 MANHATTAN - A man coming out of the restroom of a restaurant in Times Square was pepper sprayed and stabbed by a pair of attackers, the NYPD said.  At around 9 pm on December 23rd, a 28-year-old man got into an argument inside a restaurant at 1501 Broadway. The dispute appeared to end and the man went to the restroom. When he came out the pair was waiting for him.  Cops said one of the attackers pepper sprayed him in the face. The same suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen.  The attackers ran out the establishment and fled on foot northbound on Broadway. 

Thief Rips Headphones Off Residents’ Heads in Times Square

Headphone Thief Targets Times Square, Caught Red Handed The NYPD is searching for this man for a string of headphone robberies in Times Square. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice January 29, 2024 MANHATTAN - A headphone thief targeting Times Square was caught red handed with an alleged pair of stolen headphones on surveillance video released by the NYPD. Cops believe the same man struck at least twice around Times Square.  The first case happened at around 8 pm on December 22. A 26-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of 1514 Broadway when a man in a hoodie came up from behind. The thief ripped the headphones off the man’s head and ran off on West 44th Street.  The next robbery took place exactly one month later. At around 8:30 pm on January 22, a 43-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 3 Times Square when a man walked up behind her. He ripped the headphones off her ears and ran off southbound on 8th Avenue.   No injuries were reported in either ca

Trump remained defiant and posted a response on social media. The jury deliberated in under 3 hours finding that Trump defamed E. Jean Carroll by calling her a liar after a jury last year found him liable of sexual assaulting the advice columnist sometime in the 1990s.  Carroll had originally asked for $10 million. Female Thieves Threaten Victim for Phone  The NYPD is searching for two women who threatened to stab a man if he did not turn over his phone. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  January 26, 2024  MANHATTAN - A pair of brazen female thieves walked into a popular Chelsea bar and threatened to stab a man if he did not hand over his cell phone, the NYPD said.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the female suspects wanted for the robbery that took place back in October.  At around 3 am on October 14, the women walked into the ground floor of The Fleur Room at 105 West 28 Street. Cops said the women walked up to a 31-year-old male and demanded his phone.   “Give me your phone or my friend will stab you,” the victim recalled to police what the robbers said to him.  The pair forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone and then walked out.
