At around 8:30 am, a 27-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of West 35 Street and 8th Avenue. Cops said an unknown man walked up to her and, without saying a word, threw a cup of hot water on her. He then ran off in an unknown direction. The victim was treated at a nearby medical facility. Cops said the victim suffered minor injuries throughout her body since the water missed her exposed face. Street surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.
