Museum Row Groper Sought by NYPD The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a groping on the Upper East Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice September6, 2024 Follow @x NEW YORK - Cops are looking for a “bug eyed” groper who is suspected of grabbing a woman on a bus near Museum Row.  At around 3 pm on August 27, a 29-year-old woman was riding aboard an M103 bus on East 86th Street. Cops said a man walked up behind the rider and grabbed her buttocks. He got off the bus and ran eastbound on East 86th Street.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect take from inside the bus at the time. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a knitted black hat with a black t-shirt with the words “Grand Cannon, get elevated," blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles. The teen was charged with robbery. Police are not releasing the name of the suspect because she is a minor.  The case made headlines because a local doorman chased off the attackers who had pinned the woman against the building he works in.
