Surveillance Video Shows Couple Wanted for Subway Slashing The NYPD is searching for a man and a woman suspected of slashing a subway rider on 42nd Street. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 22, 2023 MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a couple wanted in the slashing of a female subway rider at the 42nd Street station.  At around 6:30 pm on November 19, an 18-year-old woman got into an argument with a man and a woman as she was entering a northbound A train at the 42 Street- Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station. According to the NYPD, the argument between the three got heated and one of the suspects pulled out a knife and slashed the woman in the arm. The couple then walked away on the northbound platform.  EMS rushed the victim to Mount Sinai West where she was listed in stable condition.  It is unclear at this time whether it was the male or female suspect who slashed the victim.  Police released surveillance video of the sus

Child Groped on Upper East Side

The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the groping of a girl on the Upper East Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice November 22, 2023 MANHATTAN - The NYPD is searching for a man, they say, groped a 12-year-old girl on the Upper East Side. At around 2 pm on November 20, a 12-year-old girl was walking on a street on the Upper East Side. A man in a hoodie walked up behind the girl and grabbed her buttocks. The man then ran off but not before his image was captured on street surveillance cameras. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket with a blue hoodie underneath. He also wore blue jeans and white sneakers. 2 People Stabbed Across from Bryant Park

The NYPD arrested five people during a double stabbing across the street from Bryant Park. -File Photo By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 20, 2023 MANHATTAN - Two people were stabbed during a melee across the street from Bryant Park, the NYPD said. Five people were arrested.  At around 3 am on November 19, police were called to a report of a group fighting in front of 1114 6th Avenue, across the street from Bryant Park.   Cops said a 22-year-old male was slashed in the ear and a 26-year-old was stabbed in the back. Both victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital and are listed in stable condition. Smoke Shop Shooting Victim Identified

The NYPD is searching for a gunman who shot a man to death outside a Harlem smoke shop. -File Photo By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice November 18, 2023 MANHATTAN - The NYPD has released the name of the victim who was gunned down outside a Harlem smoke shop near Central Park. The NYPD has identified 32-year-old Burnie Pleasant of Church Street as the victim in the November 15th shooting. At around 9 pm on November 15, NYPD officers responding to calls of shots fired arrived at Gourmet & Organic smoke shop on West 116th Street. The officers arrived to find a man lying in front of the store with multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body. EMS rushed the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was pronounced dead.

Fare Beater Beats Taxi Driver

82-Year-Old Driver Knocked Unconscious  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the beating of a taxi driver on Canal Street. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice November 17, 2023 MANHATTAN - An elderly taxi driver was knocked unconscious by his passenger who refused to pay the fare, the NYPD said. At around 1 am on November 10, an 82-year-old taxi driver drove his cab to 40 Canal Street. At the location, the passenger refused to pay the fare. The passenger exited the taxi and the driver confronted him, demanding he pay up. Suddenly the passenger punched the elderly man in the face, cops said. The driver fell onto the street unconscious. The passenger then kicked the unconscious driver. The attacker walked away from the crime scene, hailed another cab and rode away. Rolex Thieves Pistol Whip Man in Village Boutique

The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the beating and robbing of a man of his Rolex watch. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice November 16, 2023 MANHATTAN - A man is recovering after being pistol whipped by a pair of thieves who stole his Rolex and other jewelry while inside a Greenwich Village boutique, the NYPD said. At around 5:20 pm on November 15, two men entered a shop on Stanton Street. They walked up to a 26-year-old man inside the store and hit him in the back of the head with the butt of a handgun. Cops said the thieves removed three gold chains and a Rolex watch off the stunned victim. The suspects exited the store, hopped on a dark colored scooter and rode off eastbound on Stanton Street. Cops said the jewelry stolen is valued at $19,000. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken from inside the shop.
