Rolex Thieves Pistol Whip Man in Village Boutique

MANHATTAN - A man is recovering after being pistol whipped by a pair of thieves who stole his Rolex and other jewelry while inside a Greenwich Village boutique, the NYPD said.



At around 5:20 pm on November 15, two men entered a shop on Stanton Street. They walked up to a 26-year-old man inside the store and hit him in the back of the head with the butt of a handgun.


Cops said the thieves removed three gold chains and a Rolex watch off the stunned victim. The suspects exited the store, hopped on a dark colored scooter and rode off eastbound on Stanton Street.





Cops said the jewelry stolen is valued at $19,000.


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken from inside the shop.
