Cop Attacked During Protest at Police HQ The NYPD is searching for this woman in connection with an assault on a police officer during a protest near police headquarters. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 14, 2024 MANHATTAN - A protestor who apparently took part in a large Pro-Palestine protest near police headquarters is being sought for hitting an officer in the head with a bottle, the NYPD said.  At around 9:15 pm on March 8, cops tried to disperse a disorderly group in the rear of One Police Plaza. As cops tried to disperse the crowd, a woman threw a bottle striking a police officer in the head, the NYPD said.  The officer suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.  The suspect fled on foot but her image was caught on street surveillance video.  Published reports claim the suspect was part of a group that splintered off from the larger pro-Palestinian protest on Park Row and Pearl Street, not far from police headquarters.  The v

Subway Riders Nearly Hit with Burning Substance While Standing on Platform  The NYPD is searching for this man holding flaming liquid in cups at the West 28th Street Subway Station. Cops said the suspect threw the flmaing substance at subway riders. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice March 13, 2024 MANHATTAN - A deranged person threw a container of flaming liquid at a group of straphangers on a subway platform cops said. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect seen carrying two containers of flaming liquid. The suspect is seen holding the burning substance as he stood near the turnstiles. At around 7:40 pm on February 5, a group of people were waiting on a platform for the 1 Train at the West 28th Station. Cops said the suspect walked over and threw a container of flaming liquid at the people on the platform. No one was injured in the attack. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is around 35 years of age. He is six feet tall,

Cops Make Arrest in Mugging of Teen for Backpack at Rockefeller Center The NYPD made an arrest in the assault and robbery of a teen at the Rockefeller Ceneter train station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  March 13, 2024  MANHATTAN - A Brooklyn man was arrested for a mugging at a Rockefeller Center train station in which a teen was beaten for his backpack, the NYPD announced.  Police arrested 26-year-old Luis Paulino of Brooklyn and charged him with robbery.  At around 5:30 am on February 27, a 17-year-old male was sitting on a southbound F Train. As the train approached the Rockefeller Center Station, a man approached him. Cops said without warning the man punched the teen in the stomach and ripped the backpack out of the victim’s hands.

Selfie-Taking Bike Bandit Sought by Cops The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the theft of a delivery worker's bicycle in Midtown. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Bronx Voice March 13, 2024  MANHATTAN - Cops are searching for a selfie taking bike bandit who robbed a food deliveryman of his transport, the NYPD announced.  At around 1:30 pm on March 7, a 30-year-old food deliveryman was dropping off an order near the intersection of East 28th Street and Third Avenue. Cops said the bike was left unattended and the suspect walked off with it.  Police released surveillance video but also have a selfie of the suspect. He is described as a male with a light complexion and a medium build. He has facial hair on his chin.  The suspect was last seen wearing a red hoodie. Cops Release Photo of Suspect in Unprovoked Beating, Slashing on New Years Eve The NYPD is asking for the public's help in catching this man wanted for slashing a man on his eye with a box cutter on New Year's Eve. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 11, 2024 MANHATTAN - The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in trying to catch the sicko who slashed a man in his eye on New Year’s Eve. Investigators believe the vicious beating and slashing was an unprovoked attack.  The NYPD just released new surveillance video of a man suspected of beating and slashing a man during a random attack.   At around 10:30 am on December 31, a 52-year-old man was standing in front of a Chinese Takeout restaurant at 2038 Amsterdam Avenue. Cops said a man dressed in black ran up to him and struck the victim in the back of the head with a bottle.
