Cops Look for Female Thieves Who Robbed Yoga Store, Attacked Workers The NYPD is searching for these women in connection with a robbery and assault inside a yoga store in the Flatiron District. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 22, 2024  MANHATTAN - A pair of female shoplifters helped themselves to merchandise inside a high-end yoga store in the Flatiron District, the NYPD said.  At around 6:15 pm on February 6, two females walked into the Alo Yoga Store in the Flatiron District. Cops said the suspects started removing merchandise from the shelves and stuffing them in large black bags. When two female workers tried to stop them, the shoplifters pounced.  Cops said the robbers scratched the faces of the female employees ages 24 and 21.  The crooks then ran out of the store and fled southbound on 5th Avenue.  EMS treated the store employees at the scene.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects from inside the store at the time. Crook Steals Bags of Uniforms Out of Truck in Stuy Town The NYPD is searching for a suspect wearing an 8 Ball jacket in connection with the robbery of uniforms and clothes from a delivery truck. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 21, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for an 8 Ball Jacket wearing crook who stole uniforms out of a delivery truck parked at Stuy Town. At around 12:40 pm on February 13, a delivery truck was parked in front of 405 East 14th Street in Stuy Town. Cops said a male hopped into the truck and removed bags of uniforms and clothing. The suspect jumped out of the truck with the bags and fled on foot.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect which was captured at the 1st Avenue subway station. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is between the ages of 40 and 50. Severed Leg Mystery Said to Belong to Jumper at Spring Street The NYPD believes the mystery of how a human leg ended up at at Bronx subway station has been solved. They believe it belongs to a jumper in SoHo. -File Photo By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 21, 2024 MANHATTAN - Police believe they may have solved the mystery of how a severed human leg ended up on subway tracks in the Bronx and it started all the way down on Spring Street, cops said.  Investigators believe the leg belongs to a man whose body was discovered days earlier at the Spring Street station. The severed leg was found 9 miles away in the Bronx five days later.  Cops theorize that the man fell or jumped onto the tracks at the Spring Street station on February 12. The body was discovered but the leg could not be found.  On February MTA workers removing snow from the tracks found the severed leg between the 167th and 170th Street subway stations of the Number 4 line in the Bronx.  Investigators bel

Cops Release Video of Slashing Suspect The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with slashing outside a Chelsea Chipotle. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 20, 2024 MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a man wanted in a slashing outside a Chipotle restaurant in Chelsea.  During the early morning hours of February 17, a group of four men got into an argument in front of 680 6th Avenue. The dispute died down until around 3:30 am when the groups started arguing with each other while waiting for a cab. The argument turned physical as both groups began throwing punches. Cops said one of the group walked up to a 26-year-old man, pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the face, causing a massive laceration.  The slasher then fled on foot. The NYPD said $51,000 worth of luxury goods were stolen during the stickup. The NYPD released the dramatic video which not only shows the thieves waving a gun and ordering people on the ground but also shows the crooks running out of the store with arms full of luxury goods. More importantly the video captured a clear image of the female suspect who was seen without a mask. In the video, the female suspect is seen walking through the store and then leaves. Bandits Rob Gucci Store in Meatpacking District  The NYPD is searching for three gunmen who robbed a Gucci store in the Meatpacking District. -Photo by Citizen By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  February 19, 2024  MANHATTAN - A woman and two men armed with handguns stuck up a Gucci store in the Meatpacking District, the NYPD said.  At around noon today, two men and a woman burst into the Gucci store at 400 West 14th St. Cops said the crooks displayed handguns and ordered workers and customers to get on the ground.  As the employees and customers lay on the floor, the gunmen then started taking items including luggage, cops said. It is unclear at this time what the value of the stolen items are.  The bandits then ran out of the store into a waiting black Honda CRV with New York plates.  No one was injured in the robbery. Teen and Male Attacked Woman on Upper East Side  The NYPD has arrested a 16-year-old girl in connection with the violent mugging on the Upper East Side in which a doorman chased off the attackers. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  February 16, 2024  MANHATTAN - Cops arrested a pink-haired teenager in connection with a violent mugging that was thwarted by a hero doorman, the NYPD said.  Yesterday police arrested a 16-year-old female in connection with the Upper East Side mugging. The teen was charged with robbery. Police are not releasing the name of the suspect because she is a minor.  The case made headlines because a local doorman chased off the attackers who had pinned the woman against the building he works in. At around 3 pm on February 4, a 24-year-old female was walking on the Upper East Side in the vicinity of Madison Avenue and East 75 th Street across the street from the Frick Madison exhibit.  Cops said a female with pink hair and a man ran up
