Subway Push Suspect Arrested - NYPD Says

The NYPD arrested a Pennsulvania man in connection with the pushing of an elderly man onto subway tracks on the West Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice November 16, 2023 MANHATTAN - The NYPD arrested a Pennsylvania man in the pushing of an elderly man on to the subway tracks. Police arrested 30-year-old Brittan Jones of York, Pennsylvania. He was charged with assault and reckless endangerment in the attack on an 85-year-old inside a West Side subway station. At around 5:40 am on November 15, an 85-year-old man was standing on the B and D Train platform at West 47th Street and The Avenue of the Americas. Cops said the suspect began arguing with the elderly straphanger. Suddenly the suspect shoved the 85-year-old off the subway platform and onto the tracks, cops said. The suspect fled the station. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai West Hospital. Miraculously the victim only suffered a laceration to his left knee.

Subway Cell Phone Thief Schools Youngster

The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a robbery at a stubway station on the Lower East Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 15, 2023  MANHATTAN - An elderly cell phone schooled a young subway rider in Lower Manhattan when he conned his way out of getting caught, the NYPD said.  At around 2:30 pm on November 4, a 26-year-old male was sitting on a bench at the southbound platform of the J Train at the Essex Street and Delancy Street subway station. Cops said an older man walked by and snatched the man’s iPhone out of his hands. He then removed the youngster’s sunglasses off his head.  When the subway rider got up and tried to get back his items, the thief threatened him and acted as if he had a knife, cops said. When the victim backed off, the thief fled the station. 

Pot Shop Workers Pepper Sprayed, Robbed

S urveillance Video of Crew Who Stole Mary Jane and Cash Police are searching for a robbery crew that pepper sprays workers and robs smoke shops in Manhattan. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 15, 2023 MANHATTAN  - The NYPD is looking for a group of men who pepper showered employees and ransacked two smoke shops. Police delivered surveillance video of somewhere around five suspects in the robberies that occurred in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. The main robbery occurred around 10:15 pm on November 1. Cops said a gathering of men strolled into the smoke shop on Madison Road and hit a 22-year-old worker in the face with pepper spray. The worker fell over subsequent to being hit in the face with the substance, as the men approached burglarizing the store.

Red Pom Pom Boots Wearing Suspect Caught on Surveillance Video The NYPD is searching for this couple in connection with the armed robbery of a woman near Lincoln Center. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 14, 2023 MANHATTA N - A woman walking a block away from Lincoln Center was robbed at gunpoint by a man and a woman, the NYPD said. Investigators are hoping the female suspect’s red pom pom boots will help lead to the couple’s arrest.  At around 10 pm on October 30, a 41-year-old woman was walking in front of 217 West 63 rd  Street, when a man and a woman approached her from behind. Cops said the male pulled out a silver handgun as his female accomplice removed the victim’s handbag off her shoulder and cell phone out of her hand.  The suspects then fled on foot.  Cops said the property is valued at around $800.  The victim was not injured during the armed robbery.  The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is between the a

Well-Dressed Women Rips Star of David, Tear Down Hostage Posters

The NYPD is searching for two well-dressed suspects in connection with an attack on a Jewish woman who video taped Missing Hostage posters being torn down. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 13, 2023 NEW YORK - A pair of well-dressed alleged anti-semites are being sought for the vicious beating of a Jewish woman who recorded the pair tearing down photos of Hamas hostages on the Upper West Side. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.  At around 10 pm on November 9, two women were removing the posters of missing Israelis taken hostage by Hamas. The pair tore down the posters that were on light poles outside a park on Riverside Drive and West 82nd Street. The NYPD said a 41-year-old woman saw the pair and used her phone to record the posters being torn down. The woman began arguing with the suspects over tearing down the posters.

Caught on Surveillance Video - NYPD Says The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the theft of laptops from an office building in the Flatiron District. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 13, 2023 MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a backpack wearing man whom they said stole laptops from an office building in the Flatiron District.  The NYPD released the surveillance video of a young man walking with a large green and red backpack. Investigators theorize that the stolen laptops were smuggled out of an office building in that large bag.  At around 12:30 am on October 23, a man scaled the building at 45 West 25th Street and entered a commercial building through a second story window. Once inside the suspect removed a Mac Book and a Dell laptop.  Cops said the suspect then fled the building.  The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion. Surveillance Video of Baby-Faced Hate Crime Suspects The NYPD's Hate Task Force is searching for four young males for allegedly tagging Anti-Semitic messages on the Upper East Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 10, 2023 MANHATTAN - The NYPD is searching for a group of baby-faced suspects who allegedly spray painted Anti-Semitic and pro Hamas messages on rooftops on the Upper East Side.  The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the antisemitism on display in the graffiti tagged on the roof tops of four buildings on the Upper East Side which included swastikas and pro Hamas phrases.  The hate messages were tagged on the buildings just two days after the massacre in Israel by Hamas on October 7.
