Trio Wanted in Vicious Midtown Attack Atop Taxi The NYPD is searching for these three individuals for a vicious attack atop a yellow taxi cab. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice September 17, 2024 Follow @x MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a trio of suspects who beat a man on the top of a taxi cab in Koreatown. At around 10:30 pm on September 14, a 36-year-old man was seen running through Midtown being chased by three people. Cops said the trio chased the man on Park Avenue until the victim hopped atop a yellow taxicab on East 32nd Street. That did not deter the group. Cops said the attackers climbed atop the cab and began a vicious beating on the roof of the car. The attackers repeatedly stomped and punched the helpless victim. The attackers then ran away in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated and was listed in stable condition.
