At around 10:30 am on October 1, the woman was walking through a supermarket in 2040 Forest Avenue in Staten Island. Cops said she removed various items off the shelves and put them in her baby stroller. When she tried to leave the store without paying she was confronted by a 25-year-old store employee. Cops said the shoplifter repeatedly punched the worker in the face and then fled. The victim sustained injuries but refused medical attention.
