The summer time chain snatcher struck one day in August and investigators now have video of the suspect. The thief struck within 30 minutes. The first took place around the corner from the 40th Precinct in the Bronx. The robbery spree began around 3:40 pm on August 26. A 32-year-old man was in front of 349 East 139 th Street in Mott Haven. Cops said a man dressed in black walked up to the victim and ripped three chains off the victim’s neck.
