Man Stabbed Outside Municipal Building Behind City Hall in Broad Daylight A man was stabbed in the neck outside the  Manhattan Municipal Building at 1 Centre St. -File Photo By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice October 16, 2024 Follow @x MANHATTAN - A man was stabbed in the neck behind City Hall in broad daylight today, cops said. It is unclear if this was a random attack. At around 11:30 am on October 16, a 19-year-old man was walking outside the Manhattan Municipal Building at 1 Centre St. Cops said a man pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck.  The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  Police are still investigating the attack. No word has been released about a description of the attacker or a reason for the near fatal attack.  Some published, unconfirmed reports, claim the stabbing was a random attack by a deranged man.
