A Brooklyn man died as a result of his injuries suffered during defended his friend. Florian Oltmann, 38, died yesterday as a result of his injuries suffered on July 26. The Medical Examiner’s Office has classified the cause of death as a homicide. At around 2:40 am on July 22, a man was riding a moped on the sidewalk in front of 627 9th Avenue. The moped driver bumped into a 56-year-old man who was standing in front of a bar at the location. Cops said the man confronted the moped driver and that’s when things got heated.
