At around 2 pm on September 13, a 77-year-old woman was standing in front of a building at 27 West 72nd Street. Cops said a young man walked up to her and, without saying a word, punched the elderly woman in the left eye. The attacker then ran off westbound on 72nd Street towards Columbus Avenue. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital. The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, medium build and dark hair.
