Now the case is being investigated as a possible hate crime. Police released the surveillance video which shows the fire as well as the suspected arsonist. The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an arson that is being investigated as a possible hate crime. -Photo by NYPD At around 11 pm on July 6, a Hatzalah emergency vehicle was parked in front of 557 Grand Street. Cops said a man walked up to the truck and intentionally started a fire at the rear of the vehicle.
