Robber Shoves Gun in Victim’s Face, Chokes Victim The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an armed robbery inside an elevator inside an apartment building. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice June13, 2024 NEW YORK - A robber shoved a gun in the face of a man inside an elevator in Harlem, cops said. At around 11:20 pm on May 28, a 21-year-old man was riding an elevator with a masked man inside an apartment building at 2405 1st Avenue. Suddenly the masked man turned around and pulled out a gun out. The masked man stuck the gun in the victim’s face and grabbed him by the throat. The gunman then stole the victim’s phone. The NYPD released the video and is asking the community to help catch the gunman.
