Subway Sex Attack on Teen Heading to School The NYPD is searching for this man who is wanted in connection with a sexual assault on the subway. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice September 26, 2024 Follow @x MANHATTAN - A teenager on her way to school was sexually assaulted inside a subway car on the Lexington Avenue line, cops said. At around 7 am on September 23, a 14-year-old girl was riding a southbound Number 6 train. Near the 77th Street station a man came up behind the girl and pressed his groin against the girl while grabbing her buttocks, cops said. When the train pulled into the station he ran off. The NYPD released surveillance video from inside the subway car. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, dark hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a button down blue work shirt and a black baseball cap. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-
