Camo Hat Wearing Thief Snatches Cell Phones The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a string of cell phone robberies targeting women in Manhattan. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 2, 2024 Follow @x MANHATTAN - A camo hat wearing cellphone thief is being sought by cops for robbing at least four women throughout Manhattan during a 1-month period. Investigators have just linked a September 30th theft to the same series of robberies throughout Manhattan. At around 5 pm on September 30, a 77-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 2nd Avenue and 92nd Street. Cops said the thief walked up behind her and snatched the cellphone out of her hands.
