At around 12:30 pm on December 17, a man wearing a red, white and blue baseball cap walked into St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church at 22 Barclay Street and tried to disrupt the Sunday mass. When a 70-year-old parishioner confronted the disruptor, the man sprayed him in the face with pepper spray, cops said. The attacker ran out of the church and fled in an unknown direction.
