Police are looking for the mugger who attacked a 60-year-old man in broad daylight as he sat outside Chelsea Piers over the weekend.

At around 1:50 pm on Sunday, the 60 year old was sitting on a bench in front of Chelsea Piers at 11th Avenue. A man walked up to him and demanded his property. The robber then began to punch and push the victim.

The NYPD says the mugger fled without taking his victim’s property. The victim was treated for lacerations.

The mugger is said to be between the ages of 20 and 30.
