Subway Rider Slashed in Face in Unprovoked Attack

MANHATTAN - A subway rider was slashed in the face with a razor in an unprovoked attack on the Upper West Side.
Police released surveillance video from the subway turnstiles showing the man they say is a suspect in the attack.
At around 9:45 pm on November 29, a 49-year-old man was riding a northbound Number 2 train. As the train approached the 72 Street/Broadway station, a young man walked up to him and slashed him across the face with a razor.
The attacker walked off the train when it reached the station and fled to the street above.
Investigators said the attack was unprovoked.
The victim suffered a gash across his nose. He was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Police released the surveillance video of the suspect who was seen sporting a man bun and multi-colored pants.
