Hate Crime Attack in Sugar Hill?

MANHATTAN - Cops are investigating a possible hate crime attack by a pair of robbers in Manhattan.
The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the July 16 robbery.
At around 3 am, a 49-year-old man was walking in front of a brownstone on West 154th Street in Sugar Hill when he was approached by two men.
Cops said without warning the men began punching the victim repeatedly about the head and body.
As the attackers wailed on the victim they repeatedly made anti gay comments.
While the victim lay on the ground, the men removed the man’s cellphone and wallet which contained credit cards and $200 cash.
The attackers then ran off in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported for medical treatment by private means.
The suspects were caught on surveillance video at an area subway station.
The first suspect is described as a male with a thin build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing g a wool cap and blue spring jacket with the word “Fila” on the left side of the front of the jacket.
The second suspect is a male with a medium complexion and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black pants.
