Deranged Man Throws Chair at Elderly Customer Inside Wall Street Sandwich Shop

NEW YORK - An elderly man was struck in the head with a chair when a deranged man threw it at him inside a Wall Street sandwich shop.


At around 6:30 pm on August 28, a 78-year-old man was sitting at a table inside the Pot Belly Sandwich Shop at 90 Broad Street. 



Surveillance video shows a man with long bushy hair and beard walk into the store looking toward the elderly customer. Without a word the man immediately walked over to a table removed a chair and threw it at the man.





The elderly customer was struck in the head with the chair. 



The attacker calmly walked out of the restaurant and fled in an unknown direction.


The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.
