MANHATTAN - The NYPD announced the arrest of a suspect in the groping of a teenage girl inside Grand Central Station.  



Cops arrested 41-year-old Johnny Rios of Amsterdam Avenue and charged him with forcible touching. Police charged Rios in the groping of a 16-year-old girl in the subway station on January 30. 


At around 4 pm the teen was exiting the platform at 42nd Street-Grand Central Station. Cops said as she was climbing the staircase a male approached from behind and grabbed her “private area over her clothing.” 



Cops said the victim screamed and the attacker fled. 


Police released surveillance video of the suspect taken from inside the subway station. He was arrested a week later.

Cops Looking for 5 Women who Beat Ride Share Drivers  Police are searching for 5 women who are suspected of stealing a car and beating at least 3 people. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice June 1, 2023  MANHATTAN - SUVs and pot gummies are on the menu for an all-female robbery crew who beat ride share drivers and store clerks to get what they want, cops said. Police released the photos of the 5 suspects who are accused of stealing at least 1 SUV.   Investigators said the same crew ran a two-day, two-borough crime spree to steal everything from edibles and headphones, to a car.  According to cops, the robberies started at around 2 am on May 21 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Female Shoplifters Beat Worker on Lower East Side

Police are searching for two women in connection with a shoplifting and an assault on a store worker. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice July 17, 2023 MANHATTAN - Two female shoplifters who tried to leave a Lower East Side variety store without paying beat a clerk and did damage to the store, cops said. Police released surveillance video of the suspects being sought. The footage was taken from inside an elevator inside the LaGuardia NYCHA Development after the assault. At around 9:20 am on June 13, two woman walked into a variety store on the corner of Clinton Avenue on the Lower East Side. Cops said the women took merchandise and then tried to leave the store without paying. That is when a 32-year-old female worker tried to stop one of the shoplifters from leaving.
