Subscribe in a reader By Dan Gesslein, November 30 , 2020  Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to track down a heartless mugger who attacked an 85-year-old woman on the Lower East Side.  At around 1:20 pm on November 18, an 85-year-old woman was approached by a man on the corner of Madison Street and Gouverneur Street in the Vladek Houses. The hoodie-clad mugger, grabbed her purse knocking the elderly woman to the ground. He then took off with the purse, which cops say, only contained $30.  The woman suffered fractures to her left elbow and shoulder. She was taken by EMS to New York Downtown Hospital.  Police released surveillance video of the suspect taken from inside the lobbby of 640 Water Street. More Commuter Craziness Police are looking for this man in connection with an attack on a bus. Police are looking for a man who slashed a subway rider in the face and another man who punched a bus rider.  The NYPD released surveillance video of a man wanted in connection with a slashing at Grand Central Station. At around 8:20 pm on November 21, a 53-year-old man was riding on a Northbound Number 4 train when he got into an arguement with another passenger at the 42nd Street Station. Cops say as the arguement turned physical, one of the men pulled out a knife and slashed the 53 year-old across the face. The slashing caused a severe laceration and heavy bleeding.  Police are looking for this man in connection with a slashing at Grand Central Station. The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital ...

The gruesome discovery was made at 11:20 a.m. on November 23. According to NYPD spokesman Sergeant Edward Riley, "Police responded to a 911 call for a human body floating in the water" of the Harlem River, at 320 West Fordham Road at Exterior Street, a few hundred yards north of the University Heights Bridge. Subscribe in a reader By Dan Gesslein, November 23, 2020   A pair of Grinches helped themselves to some holiday packages at a building in SoHo.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects helping themselves to residents’ Amazon packages at a building at Charlton Street and 6th Avenue.  Investigators said the pair struck at around 9:30 on November 9. Cops have not said how the porch pirates gained access without permission to the secured front door.  Once inside the lobby, the men helped themselves to several packages that were left by deliverymen and not yet claimed by the residents. The veteran, Edward Flanagan, had enlisted in the Navy after his beloved older brother died in combat and went on to see action in the Pacific theater.
