The NYPD released surveillance video of the man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman on the street.
At around 2:36 am on October 11, a 20-year-old woman had just left her friend at a bus stop and was walking in the vicinity of Barrow Street and Greenwich Street. A man ran up to her from behind and pushed her to the ground.
According to police, the attacker told the woman he had a gun and then proceeded to sexually assault her on the sidewalk. The attacker fled but not before his image was captured on a surveillance camera.
The victim was removed to Beth Israel Hospital for evaluation.
