High-End Headphone Thief Used Citibike

Women Targeted by Man Using Rented Bike Police are searching for this man who allegedly used a Citibike to rob women. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice May 31, 2023  MANHATTAN - A Citibike riding robber has been using the rent a bike to rip high-end headphones off the heads of women in NYC, cops said.  Investigators are looking for the same man linked to at least three cases on the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side. Police released surveillance video of the suspect who is seen riding a Citibike.  The first incident took place at around 2:45 pm on April 6. Cops said a 20-year-old woman was walking in front of 45 East 72 Street when a man riding a gray Citibike rode up alongside her. Yankee Anthony Rizzo, Monte Team Up to Help Children

NEW YORK – The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo, and the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) are partnering to raise funds for children battling illness, by supporting 27 runners representing CHAM in the TCS New York City Marathon.   Every year, Montefiore gathers a team of CHAMpions to run the 26.2-mile route and raise critical funds that support children undergoing treatments at CHAM. This year, The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is partnering with CHAM to bolster the runners’ fundraising efforts. The goal is to increase donations that are dedicated to helping children with their medical care, such as advanced pain management therapies. Man Beaten, Stabbed in Random Attack in Manhattan

Memorial Day Stabbing Inside Park in the Bowery Leaves Residents Shocked for the Randomness of Attack Police are searching for this man for an apparent random attack in lower Manhattan. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  May 30, 2023  MANHATTAN - A Memorial Day random attack saw a man beaten and stabbed inside a park in the Bowery.  At around 1 pm on May 29, a 24-year-old man was inside Sara D. Roosevelt Park, opposite 68A Forsyth Street. Cops say an unknown man walked up to the victim and punched him in the face. Then he began to repeatedly slash the victim with an unknown object.   The attacker then fled on a black bicycle. He was last seen heading westbound on Hester Street.  The victim was rushed by EMS to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  Police did not provide a motive for the vicious attack. Police officials stated that Alfa Barrie, 11, was last seen leaving his residence on East 167 Street in the Bronx at 4 p.m. on May 12. On May 16, the NYPD reported that 13-year-old Garrett Warren, of West 143 Street in Manhattan was reported missing on May 14, after police were informed that the child left his home at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13.
