NEW YORK - A pair of burglars broke into a commercial building in the Hudson Yards and walked out with a pair of bikes and a bulky and expensive fire proofing machine.
At around 9:30 pm on May 21, two men using burglary tools gained access through the service entrance to a commercial building at 501 West 36 Street, in the Hudson Yards. Cops said the men removed a fire proofing machine valued at $15,000. The expensive equipment sprays fire retardant foam on structural beams.

Cops said the crooks also made off with two bicycles which were owned by employees in the building.
Police released surveillance video showing two men, one dressed in a bomber jacket and the other in an Adidas track suit, try to maneuver the bulky construction equipment through the glass door. They then grabbed two employee bicycles and walked out of the building.
It is unclear if the crooks had a waiting vehicle or if the robbers walked the bikes and the fire retardant foam spraying machine through the streets of the popular Hudson Yards in the shadow of the Javits Center.
Cops said the robbers fled eastbound on West 36 Street.
