NYPD Arrest More Than a Dozen Protesting Homeland Security Agents in Tense Confrontation   Dozens of masked federal agents were staging inside a parking lot when a spontaneous group of protesters got word of their presence. Man Stabs Woman on Lower East Side After Late-Night Dispute, Police Say Manhattan Voice   November 29, 2025 NYC LOCAL NEWS - A late-night argument on the Lower East Side turned violent early Friday when a woman was stabbed multiple times, according to police. It happened just before 12:30 a.m. at Pitt Street and East Houston Street . Police say the 36-year-old woman got into some kind of dispute with a man, and things escalated quickly. During the confrontation, the man allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed her several times in the right leg. Despite the seriousness of the attack, officials say the victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is expected to survive. A short time later, officers arrested 26-year-old Paris McCoy . He’s now facing charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.  According to police, McCoy has been arrested nine times before. Walgreens Recalls Nasal Spray Out of ‘Abundance of Caution’ Manhattan Voice  November 28, 2025 NYC LOCAL NEWS - As flu season ramps up, Walgreens shoppers are being urged to check their medicine cabinets. More than 41,000 bottles of Walgreens-branded saline nasal spray have been recalled because they may be contaminated with a potentially harmful bacteria. The product in question— Walgreens Saline Nasal Spray with xylitol —was manufactured by Medical Products Laboratories , a company based in Philadelphia . According to the FDA , the bottles may contain pseudomonas lactis , a type of bacteria that’s usually found in the environment, such as in soil and water. The CDC notes that this bacterium has even been detected in chicken feces , based on a 2022 study on antibiotic resistance. Not exactly something you want in a bottle you spray up your nose. Now, for most people, exposure to pseudomonas lactis wouldn’t cause major issues. But health officials in southeastern ...

By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 26, 2025  NYC LOCAL NEWS - A Greenwich Village driver was robbed of his car by a group of machete wielding carjackers and the incident was caught on video.  At around 5 am on November 19, a 27-year-old man was sitting in his Honda CRV parked in front of a church at 232 West 11 Street . Cops said two men opened the doors to the car and pushed the driver out. Then a third man chased the driver away when he started waving a machete.  Cops said two of the thieves drove off in the stolen truck while the third ran off on foot.  The suspects are described as males with light complexions. Cops Looking for Motive in Senseless Upper East Side Attack   By Dan Gesslein   Manhattan Voice   November 25, 2025  NYC LOCAL NEWS - An Upper East Side man is recovering after being knocked to the ground during an apparently random attack as cops try to find a motive.  At around 9:40 am on November 24, a 67-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of Lexington Avenue and East 87th Street . Cops said a man dressed in black ran up to him and, without warning, punched the senior in the face, knocking him to the ground. The attacker then grabbed the victim’s cellphone threw it to the ground and stomped on it several times until it broke. The attacker then ran off heading south on Lexington Avenue.  The victim suffered swelling and bruising but no life-threatening injuries.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect.
