MANHATTAN - A group of men robbed a driver on the Upper East Side during an early morning carjacking, cops said.

At around 7 am on September 5, a 33-year-old male was behind the wheel of his 2016 Nissan Rogue parked in front 1539 Lexington Avenue, near 98th Street. Cops said four men surrounded the car and ordered him out of the SUV.

As the driver exited the vehicle, one of the carjackers ripped the cellphone out of the victim’s hands.

The robbers piled into the SUV and drove off.

However, police have released surveillance video of the four suspects.
