Bike Riding Anti-Semite Accused of Hate Crime

Elderly Man Attacked in Central Park  The NYPD is searching for this bike rider in connection with a hate crime attack in Central Park. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  August 9, 2024  Follow @Bronxvoice1 MANHATTAN - An elderly man was attacked on the Upper West Side in Central Park by a bike riding anti-Semite, cops said. The case is being investigated as a possible hate crime.  At around 6 pm on July 13, a 70-year-old man was walking on West Drive in Central Park on the Upper West Side. Cops said a man riding a bike rode up behind him and began arguing.  Suddenly the bike rider punched the elderly man in the upper body. The attacker made an anti-Semitic remark before riding off.  The victim sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized.  The case is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force.  Investigators released surveillance video of the suspect seen riding the rental bike in the park....

Knife-Wielding Muggers Rob Man on Subway in Midtown

Straphanger Stuck Up at 53rd Street  The NYPD is searching for these two men in connection with a knife-point robbery aboard a midtown subway car. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  August 8, 2024  Follow @Bronxvoice1 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for two men who stuck up a straphanger at knife point while riding in a subway car on Lexington Avenue.   At around 3 am on August 3, a 27-year-old male was riding on a northbound E train riding on the F train line. Cops said two men approached the straphanger. One of the men pulled out a knife and both demanded the victim hand over his property.  The robbers grabbed the Apple AirPods out of the victim’s ears and then forced him to hand over $200 in cash.  When the train stopped at the 53rd St. and Lexington Avenue train station, the robbers fled the subway car.  The victim was not injured.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken from inside an empty...
