Woman Shoved into Wall, Beaten Under Park Avenue

Random Attack on Number 6 Line The NYPD is searching for this woman in connection with a vicious random attack on a female straphanger at the 28th Street station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice April 28, 20224 MANHATTAN - A straphanger is recovering from a blitz attack by another subway rider on the Number 6 line, cops said. The victim was shoved into a wall and repeatedly punched in the face. At around 8:15 am on April 19, a 58-year-old woman was waiting on the southbound platform of the Number 6 train at the 28th Street station. Cops said a woman walked up behind the straphanger and shoved her into a wall. The attacker then began to repeatedly punch the victim in the face. The attacker then took off on foot and fled the station. The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where she was listed in stable condition. Man Carjacked Near Columbia

Gunman Order Man Out of Car The NYPD is searching for two suspects who carjacked a man in Harlem. The suspects were seen in a gray Infiniti. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice April 27, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops are searching for a pair of carjackers who struck near Columbia University’s Harlem campus. At around 8 am on April 22, a 33-year-old male was sitting in his car in the vicinity of Claremont Avenue and West 120 Street. Two men dressed in black exited a gray Infiniti. Cops said the men in black walked up to the driver with guns drawn and demanded the driver’s car keys and ordered him out of the car. One of the gunmen entered the victim’s car and drove away with the other robber following in the Inifiniti. The NYPD released video taken from the carjacking.  The suspects are described as males with medium complexions. Both men were dressed in black hoodies with black face masks. Hate Crime Attack Being Investigated at Protest Near Columbia

Counter Palestinian Protester Hit in Face with Rock The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a hate crime assault during a protest at Columbia University. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice April 26, 2024 MANHATTAN  - The NYPD is investigating a possible hate crime during a protest near Columbia University in which a man was hit in the head with a rock. At around 11 pm on April 20, a 22-year-old male was walking with a large flag at a protest in the vicinity of Amsterdam Avenue and West 116 Street near Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus. Cops said a man yanked the flag out of the victim’s hands. The flag thief ran into the crowd of protesters and the victim gave chase. Cops said someone in the crowd threw a rock and hit the  victim in the face. The victim sustained injuries but refused medical treatment. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.

One woman had her walker knocked out from under her.  At around 2:15 pm on April 13, a 71-year-old woman was walking with a walker in the vicinity of East 59 Street and Third Avenue. Cops said a woman walked up behind the senior and pulled the walker out from under the elderly woman.  The victim fell to the sidewalk as the attacker just kept walking, cops said. Trump arrived at Manhattan Criminal Court on Centre Street where he faces 41 felony counts of falsifying business records pertaining to a $130,000 payment to porn star "Stormy" Daniels, days before the 2016 Presidential election.   The historic criminal trial, the first against a former U.S. president, kicked off on April 22. Man Hits Woman in Face with Protest Sign in Theater District  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault on a woman during a protest in Times Square. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  April 24, 2024  MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a protester who allegedly struck a woman in the face with his sign during an anti-Israel protest near Times Square.  At around 5:18 pm on March 30, a 25-year-old woman was walking near Broadway and West 46 Street. Cops said a man in a gray peacoat and red scarf began yelling at her.  The two began arguing which ended with the protester striking the woman with his cardboard sign which was attached to a pole.  The attacker ran off in an unknown direction. However, he did not escape before his image was captured with a cellphone by a person taking photos of the protesters.  The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build.
