Reports claim the victim tried to help the alleged attacker after his OMNY card did not work.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect who was seen sporting large over the ear headphones atop his head.  At around 7 pm, at the mezzanine of the 34th Street - Herald Square subway station the suspect was captured on surveillance video. The video shows the man wearing a bright green hoodie fiddling with his OMNY card trying to get through the turnstile.
