At around 3:30 am on June 21, a 24-year-old was inside the Blue Ruin Bar on 9th Avenue. Cops said another man in the bar walked over to the patron and started arguing. Then the heated dispute escalated as the two men began to physically fight.
Suddenly the man who started the argument pulled out a knife and slashed the 24-year-old across the face.
The attacker fled the bar and was last seen running eastbound on 40th Street.
EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect taken on the street. The alleged attacker is a man with a medium complexion and a slim build. He is six feet tall and has braids in his hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and powder blue sneakers.
