The NYPD just released new images of four suspects in connection with Monday’s assault.
At around 4 pm on October 7, a 54-year-old man was assaulted during a Pro Palestine Protest at 10 Union Square East. Cops said the man was counterprotesting while holding an Israeli flag. Then a group of pro Palestine protestors surrounded the man and tried to yank the flag out of his hands.
Cops said during the struggle a man in a white t-shirt struck the pro-Israel supporter in the face with a flagpole. A woman also allegedly assaulted the victim by striking him in the face with a tambourine.
