The NYPD released dramatic video of the robber pointing a blue handgun in the back of the head of the diner sitting at the counter of Seafood King Fish Market at Broadway and West 163rd Street.

Cops said the gunman fired into the back of the man’s head as he was robbing the eatery.

Investigators said the gunman had been in the restaurant before the robbery.

The victim was treated at Metropolitan Hospital.

The deadly events began to play out at around 1:45 am on Dec 6. A man wearing a face mask and dressed in black walked into the Seafood King Fish Market and placed an order for food. He then left. Cops said the same man returned 10 minutes later and used the restaurant’s bathroom. At this time the victim was eating at the counter.

A short time later, the man in black came out of the bathroom with a blue handgun and demanded cash from the register. He also demanded that the victim and the worker hand over their cell phones. The employee handed over what was in the register which the gunman placed in a bag. The cashier and the patron handed over their cell phones.

Investigators said the gunman told the worker to get down. He then fired point blank at the back of the diner’s head.

The gunman ran out of the restaurant and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
