NEW YORK - A straphanger was robbed of his clothes and items by a trio of muggers under Central Park West, cops said.

At around 4 am on August 29, a 23-year-old male was riding an uptown D train in the vicinity of Central Park West and Cathedral Parkway. Cops said three men inside the subway car approached him and demanded his property.

One of the subway muggers grabbed the victim’s phone out of his hand while another yanked a gold chain off his neck.

Then the crew demanded that the victim take his sneakers off and hand them over.

At the next stop the robbers fled.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects. One photo of a suspect was taken from inside a subway station. The two other suspects were caught on camera milling about on the street.
