FDNY Member Busted for Urinating in Jewish Tent

Police say this man who was wanted for vandalizing a Jewish sukkah, is a member of the FDNY.

MANHATTAN - A member of the FDNY has been arrested and charged with vandalizing a Jewish sukkah and urinating inside the tent outside an Upper East Side synagogue during Sukkah. 


Police arrested 37-year-old Marty Party, a member of the FDNY. He was charged with criminal mischief. 


According to police at around 1 am on October 8, Party vandalized a sukkah outside at East 92 Street and 2 Avenue. He is accused of damaging the sukkah by kicking it over and then proceeding to urinate inside the tent. 


A sukkah is a tent used as a temporary dining structure during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. 


No word if the case is being investigated as a hate crime.
