Surveillance Video Shows Suspect Running With Display of Weed in Greenwich Village

MANHATTAN - A Greenwich Village pot shop was raided of weed when a group of men broke into the pot store and stole tons of items including a display of cannabis, the NYPD said. 



Police released surveillance video of the three suspects who are seen on camera running through the streets with marijuana paraphernalia, cops said, was stolen from the pot shop. One photo shows a suspect running with a case of “Alien Labs” brand cannabis. 


At around 10:45 am on October 19, an 18-year-old female clerk at the shop on 7th Avenue in Greenwich Village was being approached by three men. As she tried to lock the front door, the trio broke through and rumaged through the shop. 



Cops said the robbers took multiple items from behind the counter and then ran off. 


The crooks ran down the block but not before surveillance cameras caught their images with the stolen items in hand. 



Cops said the female employee suffered minor injuries to her arms while she tried unsuccessfully to keep the door shut. 


The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, black hoodie, black sweatpants, black sneakers, and a black backpack. 





The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers, with headphones around his neck. 


The third suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up, gray jeans, and white sneakers.
