MANHATTAN - Anti-Semites scrawled hate messages, including a swastika, all over the exterior of a Chelsea restaurant. Now the NYPD Hate Crimes Task is asking for the public’s help in trying to catch them.

“No Zionist Scum in NYC,” “The River,” “The Sea,” stickers were placed all over the front door to a restaurant at 182 8th Avenue. Cops said in addition to the stickers the vandals spray painted a swastika as well as the phrase “Zionism Out.”

According to investigators, the vandals struck at around 12:30 am on May 6.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the four suspects. All are seen wearing dark hoodies and black face masks. All appear to be in their late teens or early 20s. Three of the suspects appear to be males and one appears to be a female.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

The case is just the latest in a string of hate crimes targeting Jewish businesses.

Last week, a vandal smashed the windows of a Kosher restaurant on the Upper East Side. Prior to that a Chelsea restaurant had its Jewish flag vandalized. And in March a suspect tried to set an Israeli flag on fire outside a Kosher bagel shop which is across the street from a Yeshiva.

None of the cases appear to be connected.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.

All calls are strictly confidential.
