Thief Stole $30,000 Worth of Jewelry from NoHo Apartment

MANHATTAN - Cops are searching for a burglar who struck three times in less than 24 hours, netting close to $38,000 worth of jewelry and electronics.
Investigators said the thief hit pay dirt with his first burglary. At around 8 pm on May 9, the thief snuck into an apartment in a building in the vicinity of Mercer Street and West 4th Street. Cops said the burglar entered the apartment through a rear window.
Once inside the home the thief stole jewelry valued at around $33,000.
He then exited through the window and climbed down the scaffolding to the street below.
Cops say the same thief broke into another home in the same vicinity less than nine hours later. At 5 am he climbed into the apartment through an unlocked rear window. However, the thief did not take any property.
Forty minutes later he struck again. This time he entered through a side window at an apartment in the vicinity of Mercer Street and West 4th Street. The burglar scooped up two iPhones, some other electronics and personal items. The thief then slipped out of the apartment through the window, climbed down the scaffolding and fled on foot to the street below.
Cops said the value of the items stolen this time was $4,950.
Police released surveillance video of a suspect they believe is the burglar taken during the last incident.
The suspect is described as a man between the ages of 25 and 35. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with white writing Yankee symbol on the back and the word "Crisp" in the front, gray pants, gray sneakers, black hat and black face mask.
