MANHATTAN - A SoHo luxury handbag reseller was robbed of $225,000 worth of handbags during a night time burglary, cops said.


At around 11 am on February 12, two men forced their way into Rebag at 390 West Broadway through a basement door. Cops said once inside, the men went upstairs to the display floor and started breaking into glass cases full of luxury handbags. 


Cops said the thieves broke into multiple display cases and removed luxury handbags and watches valued at around $225,000.


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects seen at the subway station at Fresh Pond Road and 60 Road in Queens. In the video one of the suspects is seen rolling a large piece of luggage on wheels.


The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion who is around 5 foot 7 to 5 foot 8. He is said to be between 30 to 40 year of age. He has a heavy build and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a dark colored jacket and blue jeans.


The second suspect is a male with a light complexion, slim build and facial hair. He is 5 foot to 5 foot 8 and is between the ages of 30 and 40 years of age. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hat with a black balaclava underneath, a black hooded jacket, and black pants with a stripe down both legs.


News of the Rebag burglary comes the same week armed bandits robbed a $50,000 worth of luxury handbags from a Gucci store in the Meatpacking District.
